At a press event in Singapore, Vertu announced its third and latest range of premium handsets. The new Vertu Constellation Ceramic is available in four color versions: white, black, silver, and chocolate. Like previous Vertu phones, they are made of steel and leather. However, unlike the previous models, these new phones have a keypad and earpiece entirely made of ceramic materials. According to rumor, it took around two years for Vertu designers to create this ceramic. The result is a phone of unbelievable beauty and luxury. Besides that, the phone also features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal LCD display and a back made of leather (color depending on which color version it is). The phone also features either an 18 carat gold or stainless steel finish. Clearly designed for people who use dollar bills as napkins, the phone is rumored to be even more expensive than the previous Constellation models, which are already unaffordable to the average folk.
